About Rachel

Rachel began her journey with aerial arts in St Albans with the static trapeze back in 2004 and has since enjoyed flying trapezes, doubles trapezes, rope, silks, hoops and most recently, aerial hammocks.

Rachel started at what was originally called the Godiva School of Static Trapeze in St Albans, and after a year or two of practice, Rachel started helping teaching the childrens and adults classes. After the original teacher, Gaynor Godiva, relocated Rachel took over running of the classes, including organising and choreographing several student showcases.

Rachel got back in to practicing and teaching aerial in 2020 after taking a break to look after her young family. She rediscovered her love for hanging around upside down and sharing that joy.

When not playing in the air, Rachel lives in Woolmer Green with her husband, Roy, and two children who also love climbing and dangling from anything suspended of the ground.

Rachel is fully insured for Aerial Arts, first aid qualified and DBS checked.
