Having been an aerialist for seven years and a practising yogi for four, Ali Walker decided to combine these two passions into aerial yoga.
After studying and practising full time to gain her qualification from the Aerial Yoga Academy (accredited by the World Yoga Alliance), she now offers aerial yoga classes in Harpenden to help others discover the joy of flying in the air while gaining strength and flexibility.
Ali also teaches static trapeze and aerial silks for St Albans Trapeze and Aerial Arts. As an aerialist, she enjoys exploring the huge potential for transferring the moves, poses and strength training found in aerial circus skills to aerial yoga - and vice versa.
She lives in St Albans with her partner, Toby, and her cat, Jacey. On the odd occasion she has both feet on the ground, Ali enjoys baking, hula hooping, meditating, reading novels, and watching Ru Paul's Drag Race on Netflix.
